Too often parents are isolated and without much support. They confront the toughest and most important job in the world with the sense that they have to go it alone. But no one can go it alone.
The Parent Helpline can help you find programs and services in your community that can help. 1-800-CHILDREN is a free, confidential, multi-lingual information and referral service for anyone who has questions or concerns about a child or family. A trained Helpline Specialist is available to assist you everyday from 9 a.m. until 10 p.m. After 10 p.m you can leave your name and number with our answering service, and we’ll get back to you the following morning. If you live outside of New York, you can find your state’s Prevent Child Abuse chapter by calling 1-800-CHILDREN or at Prevent Child Abuse America.
