Jeff Sutphen has a great talent for creating shows that engage kids and teens, whether he is behind the camera or in front of an audience. As host of BrainSurge, Sutphen brings high-energy and laughs to the game show that tests contestants’ and viewers’ memory and concentration skills. Sutphen has worked for several networks, including VH1, MTV and E! Entertainment. It was his role as a producer on Nickelodeon’s “U-Pick Live” that propelled him into the world of kids’ television. After working on 400 episodes of “U-Pick Live,” he produced numerous TEENick spots and served as a producer on several other Nick shows. In addition, he created a music show for a college network, entitled Bootlegged, which showcased alternative bands with live concert footage and interviews. From “U-Pick Live” and TeeNick to a college music show and now a game show, Jeff Sutphen continues to be a creative force behind innovative and exciting projects for kids and families.
