Glendene Grant:
Glendene is looking for her missing daughter JESSIE FOSTER who has been a missing person, an ENDANGERED missing person since March 29, 2006 when she went missing under very mysterious circumstances from her HOME in North Las Vegas.JESSIE is most likely a victim of human trafficking. It is believed she has been taken away. Human trafficking is the fastest growing criminal industry in the world, 3rd only to Drugs and Weapons – but gaining. Human trafficking is people TRICKING, LURING, COERCING OR RECRUITING innocent victims to get them to leave their families, homes and countries and then they are forced to work with LITTLE or NO pay at jobs that are very exploitative.
The United Nations have estimated that the Slave Trade’s worth is nearly $40 billion a year for the sale of humans and the value of their exploited labor. It has become the fastest growing criminal industry worldwide. Most of the slaves brought into the USA (like Jessie was) end up as laborers; domestic servants; strippers; or prostitutes – all of them are degraded; beaten; or worse.
For more information on JESSIE’s case, go to our website:
http://.jessiefoster.ca - there is LOTS of stuff there: from media articles (over 200 of them), pictures (lots), printable posters are available for anyone wanting some to distribute, you never know where JESSIE might be, so everyone needs to keep their eyes open.
Lisa Freeman:
“As a child I was both bullied and the bully. All I wanted was love, all I found was abuse. I didn’t fit anywhere, so I made poor choices, gave into peer pressure, and went along with the crowd. All my life I ran to all the wrong things trying to find where I belonged. At 13, I ran away and lived out on the road with an older boyfriend who swore to love and protect me. For two years we hitchhiked all over the USA. I was kidnapped, raped, beaten and nearly killed more times than I can count. What was even worse is that my own boyfriend began abusing me too. Relationship violence and peer pressure are huge and need to be stopped. Today I’m running to share my story so other victims can break the cycle of abuse from their lives and be set free too.” -LisaLisa’s life-changing award-winning book series “Run For Your Life“ available now. Read how she became an award-winning author after five years of rejections and now even teaches other writers the ins and outs of How To Get Published.
Snickers story “A New Home” written by Lisa Freeman was published in Chicken Soup for the Dog Lover’s Soul, 2005.
