Father Accused Of Beating 5-mth Old Son Gets Trial

S. STRABANE, Pa. — A South Strabane man police accused of beating his infant son to brain damage will go to trial. Keith Long, 25, waived his right to a preliminary hearing Wednesday. Investigators said Long’s 5-month-old son suffered permanent brain damage after he was severely abused. Long is charged with aggravated assault and endangering the welfare of his son.
