BROOKSVILLE, FL — Tai-Ling Gigliotti could have accepted a plea deal, but instead she chose to go forward with this trial.
The prosecution claims she beat her adopted son and kept him a prisoner in their Spring Hill home. But the defense says the boy had plenty of freedom.
