LEE COUNTY, Fla. – The Lee County Sheriff’s Office is teaming up with Pinchers Crab Shack to help prevent child abuse. A Labor Day Beach Bash will be held September 6th from Noon until 3:00 pm at the Pinchers Crab Shack located at 6890 Estero Boulevard on Fort Myers Beach. Five percent of your total bill from Pinchers Crab Shack tiki menu will go to the Walk to Prevent Child Abuse Fund.

By the time you finish reading this article, 15-20 children will have been abused, beaten or molested. In the next five minutes, 30 more. Within the next hour, 360 more. And by tonight, close to 8,000+ children will have suffered from abuse, 5 of which will die. Child abuse has increased 134% since 1980 and is now considered a worldwide epidemic.
