4 Local Boys Endured A Childhood Of Neglect Before 2 Angels Came Along And Made Everything Right
NEW YORK–They survived a childhood of neglect — abuse so severe the boys were nearly starved to death.
As the woman who abused them is released from prison after four years, those local children have made a remarkable transformation, from horror to happiness.
At first, this seems the picture perfect family. But a closer look and a photo tells a very different story – a story of boys nearly starved to death, horribly abused by the foster parents who came to adopt them.
Tre-Shawn was 14 years old in the image.
“I weighed 40 pounds,” he said.
Terrell was 10.
“Thirty pounds,” Terrell said of his weight.
Michael was 9 years old and his weight?
“Less than 20 pounds,” he said.
Michael’s tiny body fit into clothes for a baby.
