A Quincy woman was indicted Monday on charges of killing her unborn son and her 9-year-old daughter.
Fang Chi-Xue, 38, was committed to Westboro State Hospital for psychiatric treatment after being found unresponsive and bleeding from slashed wrists in her Woodbine Street apartment on April 16.
Norfolk County prosecutors said she strangled her daughter, Wen Xue, and slit her wrists. An autopsy determined that self-inflicted wounds caused the death of her fetus.
She is charged with murder for her daughter’s death and manslaughter for the death of her fetus.
Chi-Xue was not arraigned on the charges pending a competency hearing. She is due in Quincy District Court for an update on her competency on Wednesday.
No Superior Court arraignment date has been set.
