AZ–Sexually Explicit Letters Being Sent to Young Girls
PHOENIX , Arizona — For the last 10 years, someone has been sending threatening, sexually explicit letters to girls between the ages of 8 and 14. They are not chosen at random, as they know their names and they know what they look like. They know these things because they choose young girls who have been pictured in local newspapers. Creepy enough yet?
Police know of at least 80 letters that have been written since 1999 to girls in Arizona, New York, New Jersey, Florida, California, Georgia, and Texas. Stopping the person has been difficult as the letter-writer has never attempted any other form of contact with the girls, so there are no physical descriptions.
Also, DNA tests from the letters have not resulted in any leads. A couple phrases the writer likes to use are “lovebud” and “hope her thighs feel as good as they look”. There is a $1,000 reward for anyone who helps in identifying this very disturbed suspect.
This may not sound serious to some, especially when compared to other stories here, but can you imagine how much something like this can disrupt a family? Obviously that is all this person is after – knowing they have scared a family by anonymously threatening their children.
