10-Yr Old Girl Dies After Being Sexually Assaulted

HAWTHORNE ( KTLA) — A 10-year-old girl believed to have been sexually assaulted was pronounced dead after being found unresponsive at a Hawthorne residence Saturday morning. Authorities were called to a home in the 4800 block of West 132nd Street about 7:20 a.m.. said Sgt. Richard Pena of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department. “They found an unresponsive 10-year-old white female,” he said. “The girl was transported to a local hospital, where she was pronounced dead.”
